C-Sorb contains superabsorbent polymers (SAP). This material can absorb up to 300 times its weight in fluid, making it ideal for heavily exuding wounds. Once the fluid is absorbed, it transforms into a gel that locks in the fluid, ensuring it is evenly distributed across the dressing. This minimises leakage and discomfort.

The frequency of your dressings will be determined by the volume of fluid or exudate. Your clinician will advise you on how often your dressing should be changed.

C-Sorb is not designed to be cut. The dressing comes in a range of sizes and your clinician will select the most appropriate one for you.

C-Sorb is a non-adherent dressing that must be secured using bandages, compression hosiery or surgical tape.
